Artisan Paperclip Necklace

This is a necklace like no other! It is a custom creation from our fabulous Santa Fe, NM artist, Mary Ann Seville. She fabricated these links individually with what’s called a “lost wax” process. To be honest, this brilliant artist rivals Yurman. And believe me, I have plenty of both!

The 7mm x 11mm rectangular links are a full millimeter thick and beautifully soldered together for a continuous 18” necklace. This piece is bright with carved texture for amazing dimension. We’ve finished it with an Artisan sterling toggle, which is the perfect closure for this piece of “fine jewelry.”

The Spanish Real replica coin is a really nice weight with a full 1mm thickness. It is solid sterling silver. What we especially love, aside from the design on both sides, is its irregular shape. It offers a rather authentic feel. We always get compliments on the pendant. And it’s so well-suited for the necklace that we’ve affixed it to the toggle ring.  They are lovely together!
