Did you know that Newfoundland did not join Canada until 1949? I literally had to look up exactly where Newfoundland even is. The history is amazing when you start researching.

The obverse laureate portrait of Queen Victoria makes such a stunning cameo against the dark patina of the bronze coi..

The reverse of this rare and very large one cent coin depicts garland of purple pitcher plants (the island's emblematic insectivore plant) and oak leaves. The Royal Crown and the year of issue are visible in the center of the One Cent coin.

You will adore the aged bronze of this antique coin. The handcrafted sterling bezel is thoughtfully embellished to add the perfect flavor for this rare pendant. Just this coin alone will cost you $30.00!
