So excited about these contemporary, artisan earrings. They are glamorous and quality-plus! The first layer is a hand-cut piece of silver, filed and shaped, then domed and textured. The finish is classically brushed, and the dabbed circles glimmer just right for a beautiful, yet subtle, contrast.
The background is so complementary to these gorgeous rose-cut gemstones. The sparkly baby blue is so precious. The Swiss blue topaz is hand-set into a sterling cup, then burnished for the final step... front side, check!
The final step is soldering the post. Sometimes a stud earring is just what you need for dancing or an active situation. (My friend Jules would say “fly fishing.” 🙂 The sterling earring nut is a substantial 7mm. The pics show a 5mm silver nut, but then I decided to upgrade to a 7mm rhodium plated, sterling earring nut.
